Laindon Neighborhood Centre – Works timeline and deliberate reopening

Basildon Council is now absolutely dedicated to reopening Laindon Neighborhood Centre as quickly as works to make sure the centre is match for goal have been accomplished.

Basildon Council took over the working of Laindon Neighborhood Centre in November 2020 after the keys had been handed to the council by the Laindon Neighborhood Affiliation.

Following a radical buildings inspection it was found the centre was not match for goal. Works are presently underway to convey the constructing again into use and guarantee it’s match for goal and meets the wants of the neighborhood.

Scope of works report on Mechanical Companies:

  • Liaise with fuel utility supplier and generate a citation for a re-connection/New connection
  • Generate a scope of works and any drawings.

Proposed Mechanical works:

  • Reconnection of fuel, drain and energy flush the heating system fill and dose, re-commission the prevailing boilers, pumps, pressurisation unit, controls, and many others.

Evaluate choices to transform the water system to mains fed and scope accordingly.

Proposed Electrical works:
